Synaptic Package Manager


1. Configure repository in Synaptic Package Manager and choose a download
   server from the list available under the option "Other" of "Download from" drop-down menu. 

2. Install "emacs" using the Synaptic Package Manager in Ubuntu.

3. Remove "emacs" using the Synaptic Package Manager in Ubuntu.
