Gujarat Technological University has introduced Open Source Technologies Club initiative for all its affiliates as a part of GTU Innovation Club. GTU has started Spoken Tutorial-based software training for engineering, diploma and MCA students as a part of Open Source Technologies Club. This partnership with Spoken Tutorials, IIT Bombay started in March 2013 and 77 colleges have already established OSTC, and are actively using the Spoken Tutorial videos for learning various software.
