Directorate of Technical Education, Kerala has shown interest in the Spoken Tutorial Project and have agreed to take the program through workshops to all the Govt. Polytechnics in the State. An office order to this effect was issued by the Directorate in the month of July and later on DTE took the initiative in the month of January to facilitate a pilot training session for all its 49 Govt. Polytechnic institutes. During the Pilot program organised on 18th January, 2014, 14 institutes( one per each district) were nominated as the Nodal Centres and DTE has ensured that all of them completes one workshop in a month or two. As on 13th March, 2014 all the 14 Nodal Centres in the State have completed one Spoken Tutorial Workshop and are now expected to take the lead to reach to the unreached ones.
