Principal of SITM Dr. Shanta Kumar, the institute management and its Faculty has taken the initiative to include the Spoken Tutorial course on C in the first year syllabus for all the branches and C++ in the syllabus of EEE & ECE departments. SITM is the first institute in North Eastern part of India to officially include the Spoken Tutorial as a reference course in the syllabus.
