REGISTRATION

Screening Task:

  1. Create a 1-min course snippet videos for ST FLOSS series - C/C++, Java, LaTeX, Python, Scilab, Arduino, eSim, Linux, Moodle, Koha, FrontAccounting, HTML & CSS.

  2. The snippet videos using multimedia and VFX, will be used for introduction and marketing purposes.

  3. The video should communicate the key points of the software, the course, and tie back to the Spoken Tutorial brand.  Clearly convey what is in it for the learner. Should be appealing to a global audience.

 

Submission:

  1. Submit your snippet in mp4 format, on Moodle. If the file size is too large, upload on your personal G-Drive and post the link to the video on Moodle.

  2. Explain story-line for your video.

  3. When you submit, please also mention which software you have used to create your video.

 

Evaluation Criteria:

Following criteria will be considered while evaluating the tasks:

  • The attractiveness of the video

  • Effects used

  • Clarity of the content

  • No plagiarism (if your submission matches another student's submission, both will be rejected)

 

6-weeks Fellowship task:

  1. Enhance/Create the 1-min course intro videos for ST FLOSS series - C/C++, Java, LaTeX, Python, Scilab, Arduino, eSim, Linux, Moodle, Koha, FrontAccounting, HTML & CSS. 

  2. Shoot interviews with the faculty-in-charge, create video-bytes from that interview, add music, VFX, add testimonials where available, etc.

 

Technologies to be used:

Blender, Synfig, Avid Media Composer First, Davinci Resolve.
