Screening Task:

Write a proposal for mapping mentors with mentees to improve employability prospects (on the lines of ST Forums).

Also, write sufficient explanation, prepare wire frames, mock-ups. etc.

  1. Registration page for potential industry professionals or faculty members who wish to mentor students (from any college).

  2. Registration page for students who wish to seek mentorship from faculty members from other colleges, potential industry professionals or job-portals similar to Naukri. (So, a registration page for job-portals if they want to be part of the programme)

 

Submission:

Submit your proposal for mapping mentors with mentees on Moodle.

Also, submit detailed explanation, sufficient wire frames, mock-ups. etc.

 

Evaluation Criteria:

Following criteria will be considered while evaluating the tasks:

  • The simplicity of the proposal
  • Comments for each functionality
  • Documentation should be readable and understandable
  • No plagiarism (if your submission matches another student's submission, both will be rejected)

Once your submission is shortlisted, we will administer a Python test which you will need to clear.  Only then will you be selected for the fellowship with us.


 

6-weeks Fellowship task:

  1. Write code to go through students' profiles, CVs, scores/grades and display to the mentors.  They will help identify areas in which the students need to improve in order to be job-ready.

  2. Write code for students to post questions, and receive answers from mentors.

  3. Placeholders for FAQs on professional etiquette, personal etiquette and grooming, presentation skills, CV improvement, Communication skills, etc.

  4. A webpage(s) where all the interaction(s) can happen.
