LCD display gets heated
As per the video lecture I have connected all the connections.yet LCD display gets heated and some portion of the LCD is not displaying properly.As the time was less we had to skip this at that time and moved on to other exercises.Kindly let me know how this can be dealt.

CONNECTION DIAGRAM
Anode and Cathode terminal of LCD is not connected in diagram shown. Probably as I searched on internet it must connected . Without this correction practical not work which may lead learners to wrong direction.Please correct it if I am write.
