We can find pattern at the end of the line by $. Can we find pattern at the beginning of the line? grep "[78]...$" grepdemo.txt, how this command find scholarship between 7000 to 8999 ?

grep "^A" grepdemo.txt, why this command only highlight the roll number starting with A, why not names ?

More on grep command grep प्रयोग करके ढूँढना। एक से अधिक पैटर्न का मिलान करना। भिन्न-भिन्न स्पेलिंग वाले शब्द को जाँचना। कैरेक्टर क्लास * (ऐस्टरिस्क) का प्रयोग। डॉट प्रयोग करके किसी एक कैरेक्टर का मिलान करना। फाइल की शुरुआत में पैटर्न का मिलान करना। फाइल के अंत में पैटर्न का मिलान करना।
