• Conducting Scilab on Windows

  Hello,We have started Scilab course from Spoken Tutorial in our college. I want to find out whether it is possible to conduct these classes in the windows platform rather than the Ubuntu environment. Students are actually facing some difficulty using commands etc  in doing it in the Ubuntu platform, and would prefer to do it in Windows environment. Can you please advise if this will be possible without any difficulty?Thanks,Priyanka

• Installing Scilab 6.1.0 on Ubuntu 20.04.1

  I am not able to install scilab 6.1.0 on my Ubuntu 20.04, I tried using all the methods- (i)downloading it from scilab website(ii)downloading it through terminal (iii) downloading it through ubuntu app storebut it's not functional from any source One of the error I get is written below. kindly help me through this.Error:Could not access to the Main Scilab Class:Exception in thread "main" java.lang.ExceptionInInitializerError at org.scilab.modules.localization.Messages.gettext(Unknown Source) at org.scilab.modules.commons.xml.XConfiguration.<clinit>(Unknown Source) at org.scilab.modules.core.Scilab.<clinit>(Unknown Source)Caused by: java.lang.NullPointerException at java.base/java.lang.ClassLoader.loadLibrary(ClassLoader.java:2646) at java.base/java.lang.Runtime.loadLibrary0(Runtime.java:830) at java.base/java.lang.System.loadLibrary(System.java:1873) at org.scilab.modules.localization.MessagesJNI.<clinit>(Unknown Source) ... 3 moreScilab cannot create Scilab Java Main-Class (we have not been able to find the main Scilab class. • FOSSEE Optimization Toolbox Installation(FOT) error

  I tried to install optimization toolbox for advanced workshop on 01.10.2020 using atomsInstall(“FOT”) and Module manager-ATOMS. But after reopening of scilab following error is displayed while other toolboxes are working fine: atomsLoad: An error occurred while loading 'FOT-0.3.1':    exec: error on line #60: "link: The shared archive was not loaded: libgfortran.so.4: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory"Kindly help me out in resolving this issue.Regards

• Error while installing IPD and SIVP toolbox in scilab in xubuntu or lubuntu on Raspberry pi
