About Drupal In A Day

Spoken Tutorial in association with FOSSEE, IIT Bombay, is hosting "Drupal-in-a-Day" workshop alongside Drupal Camp Mumbai 2018 at IIT Bombay. We invite you to attend this workshop and learn Drupal, the world’s leading open source content management framework, for developing websites and web based applications (for desktop and mobile). On successful completion of the surprise activity, you also stand a good chance to get a free participation ticket to attend two days of Drupal Camp on 28 and 29 April 2018.

Drupal Camp Mumbai is one of the largest Drupal community gatherings in India. The purpose of this event is to bring students, developers, architects, managers, businesses and organisations on a singular platform to network, interact and share openly with each other, and help strengthen the community at large.

The training workshop is focused self-learning and real time practising model, where each student will be provided with high quality video tutorials developed by Spoken Tutorial projcet and at the end of the workshop the student should be able to build a full fledged Drupal-based website.

Come learn, be a part of the largest open source community for web content management, and hone your skills to an exciting career in web applications.

Note:

• Kindly bring your laptop with chargers and headphones/earphones for the workshop.
• Students should make sure they install Drupal 8.5.1. (Installation instruction)(Download Bitnami Drupal 8.5.1)
  Recommended OS: Windows 7 and higher, Linux & Mac
• Morning Tea, Lunch, Evening Tea will be provided
• Accommodation will not be provided to participants

Workshop Objectives

• Learn Drupal 8 using spoken tutorials.(Student can start watching video prior to workshop this will help them complete extra activity on workshop day. Here is the link for Drupal spoken tutorials : Drupal Videos)
• Build a basic Drupal 8 site refering Drupal spoken tutorials.
• Surprise activity willl be announced on the day of workshop. Completion of this surprise activity will get extra appreciation.

Rewards

• Participation Certificate will be given to all attendees.
  
• On successful completion of the surprise activity a participation ticket to attend two days Drupal Camp 2018 + DCM2018 Goodies Kit will be given.
  
• Attendees can stand a good chance to get selected as a Drupal Campus Ambassador, as well.

Drupal Camp Mumbai is one of the largest Drupal community gatherings in west India. The purpose of this event is to bring students, developers, architects, managers, businesses and organisations on a singular platform to network, interact and share openly with each other, and help strengthen the community at large. This year, the focus will be on developers, business users and students.

Registration Instruction:-

Online Early Bird Registration Fees : Rs 600. (Inclusive of payment gateway charges.)

On Spot Registration is subject to availability of seats.

On Spot Registration Fees: Rs 700.
