This tutorial series is created using Windows 10 64 bit OS and Ubuntu Linux OS 18.04. DSpace is a free and open source repository software package, generally used for creating and managing repositories of digital content. DSpace is very useful as an Institutional Repository. DSpace is developed by joint efforts between MIT and HP Labs. Currently, DuraSpace leads the updates and enhancements of DSpace software. Basically, DSpace is a digital archival system which has the best features of content management systems and document management systems. DSpace is used for long-term storage, access and preservation of digital content. It runs on operating systems such as Linux, Ubuntu, Solaris, Windows and Unix.
