Fixing the Wire is not Closed Error - English

748 visits

Outline:

Open Part design workbench and create a sketch. Draw a rectangle using Sketcher tools. Delete one coincidence constraint to trigger the wire is not closed error. Move the line to observe misaligned endpoints. Attempt to pad the sketch and observe the “Wire is not closed” error. Use Validate Sketch tool and highlight troublesome vertices. Apply “Find and Fix” to resolve missing coincidences, adjust tolerance if required. Recheck and pad the corrected sketch. Trigger the error again by drawing an overlapping line. Delete extra overlapping lines to fix the sketch and pad successfully.
