Outline:

Open FreeCAD and load a model. Export the model to STL format. Import the STL file into a new document. Change the Draw Style to view the mesh clearly. Convert the STL mesh into a Shape. Convert the Shape into a Solid using part tools. Check the Solid using the Geometry Check tool. Refine the Solid to remove extra faces. Create a Body in Part Design and add the solid as a BaseFeature. Create a sketch on a face and modify the solid using the Pocket tool.
