1) What are the additional advantages of gnuplot in comparison with other plotting software like origin (I understand gnuplot is the open-source, free software, whereas origin is a paid software)2. If we compare two open source softwares, like gnuplot and the matplotlib module of python, aren't they more or less similar ?
