In my case, it is showing channel 395 directory not found. What to do then?
The dimensions of this rectangle are 4, 2, and 2. This could have been mentioned; at the minimum, the diagram could have been drawn proportionately.
Vertices numbers shown in the diagram and the coordinates shown in the file are confusing. For some vertices, their number in the diagram is also the length, but not for all vertices. You could have shown the diagram on the right side of the file (why should the text file be maximised?), with vertice coordinate triplet shown for each vertex.
Do you mean "when viewed in the negative y direction?"
why cant I copy from editor in windows to editor in ubuntu? Is it like I must open editor (from which I have to copy) in ubuntu only and then copy and paste?
Does expansion ratio indicate taper of the block along x1, x2 and x3 directions?
In 3 min 26 sec it is stated that we have to delete some commands already excisting in block mesh dict n then copy some informations. but it is not clear how to open text file from which to be copied and from where to open it.
Why are we using the cyclic boundary? Is it the same as a periodic boundary?
What is the purpose of going into the channel395 directory using the cd channel395 command?
When is the ‘mergePatchPairs’ field populated?
Why is the ‘edges’ fields left empty?
What does hexahedral block mean? Does OpenFOAM allow only hexahedral blocks?
How to choose other units such as centimeter (cm) or millimeter (mm) for coordinates using convertToMeters?
What does the ‘remaining’ content of the blockMeshDict file signify?
Why is the boundary conditions folder not needed and deleted?
The channel flow shows a 2D geometry, whereas the channel geometry is shown to be 3D. Why is this?
