Hello,I would like to know how the point between vertices 1 &2, (0,0.212132,0), was obtained.I understand that it is with the ordinate of this point we calculate the coordinates of other vertices in the same circumference.Say I change the pipe dia, would this particular point remain the same, if not what is the expression to find the new value. Thanks in advance.
What is the utility of the 0.Orig folder?
Is there any other, less tedious way of specifying an arc?Doing calculations for a point on the arc gets difficult at times, any alternative method for doing the same. Please help.
What is the meaning of negative volumes in a mesh?
While it is understandable to not have a GUI for solver, isn't it very difficult to visualise and name vertices and blocks for meshing? Doesn't it warrant having some sort of 3D modeller tool for meshing? Are there any such opensource meshers available?
Can we change grading here in this Mesh ?
Is there any other way to create pipe geometry?
Vertices 0 & 17 are not connected to any edge. Do we need those vertices here?
How did you calculate vertices coordinates?
What values of skewness & aspect ratio are identical in CFD?
How did you calculate arc points? How can I calculate for some other geometry?
Can we use different cell sizes for each block?
If 0 folder is not required, can we delete it? As we did in the previous tutorials
